Michael Halbrook is finding God in the Garden. This blog covers Michael's faith, ministry, and efforts at seeing God in the natural world around him.

Michael is a Catholic husband, father, writer, and musician.  He lives in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri with his beautiful wife and two sons - Thomas Xavier and Matthew James.  He is a music director and is currently serving as pastoral council president at Holy Family Catholic Church.

In the working world, Michael is a consultant with Omniture, a leading provider of real-time analytics solutions. Organizations worldwide rely on Omniture's Discover OnPremise analytics solutions to enable fast and detailed analytics on very large volumes of streaming and stored data. He helps data-driven clients optimize their performance through fast answers to hard questions.

Previously, he was a program manager and online ad strategist in the online group at Rodgers Townsend in St. Louis, a full service creative communications company, where he worked with clients including AT&T.  Before RT, Michael worked for three years as Sr. Project Manager of interactive media at Avatar Studios, a St. Louis-based media production house. He previously worked at Worldmember and at KPNT/WVRV/KXOK St. Louis (when owned by Sinclair Broadcasting) as online director and sales promotion manager.

In his youth, Michael spent nine summers ('91-'97, '99-2000) on the summer camp staff of Trails West Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
